Old Childhood Diary Entry For Saturday March 11, 1995

Saturday March 11, 1995

Dear Sherlock Holmes,

Today my began at 5:32 am when, you guessed it, my cat Opera went into labour. Of course, my bed is always the place to give birth. I turned my lights on and proceeded with cleaning everything off my bed except my sheets. (nothing else was soiled). I had no other choice but to watch and comfort Opera while she delivered the kittens. She was still giving birth when I checked at the Neighbourhood House. We had a delay because someone slashed the tires. On arriving to Sasamat, we got cabin A. Mine is A3. I got bunk beds this time and to my luck I got the upper one (like I really want to take the lower one). The first activity we did was the Voyager canoes. Then it was group cheers and secret buddy notes (more on that later). After lunch it was fire building. I made a banana boat and ate it. We then prepared the food for supper. I won’t bore you with all the preparation, but I’ll tell you what my supper & dessert consisted of. I just had a plain burrito with meat and cheese and a drink. For dessert it was smores. Boy was it good! We had a fire drill, then a rock climbing demo and campfire songs. I really liked group 6 the best. It was the quietest. Now I really want to read my book. Love, TKT

Prayer Journal For Sunday June 19, 2022

Sunday June 19, 2022

Dear God,

Let me get all my poems cut up & laminated. Let me take pictures of all my poems & post them to Facebook & twitter. Let me successfully pass them along to others for enjoyment. Let me use them as a teaching tool to teach others poetry. Let others benefit from my poems. Let others pass my poetry onto other people. I give it all to you for you to deal with. In your hands. Please listen to my prayer.

To God For Sunday June 19, 2022

Sunday June 19, 2022

Dear God,

If everything is made of plastic these days, should we not get rid of all plastic? Should we not find ways to use alternate sources instead? Should we not find ways to get all the plastic out of the oceans, rivers, lakes & land? Should we no find ways to recycle the plastic as much as possible? Should we not do all that we can to save our planet? Should we not care about what happens to the planet, God?
